Causes You Can Support
"You cannot do a kindness too soon,
because you never know how soon
it will be too late."
"Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me." A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. 1My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed. |
J.C.R.Widows-Mantripalem Branch. WIDOWS/WIDOWERS/OLD-AGED. "STRUGGLING ALONE" Somebody near you is struggling alone Over life's desert sand. Faith, hope, and courage together gone: Reach him a hungry hand, Turn on his darkness a beam of your light; Kindly, to guide him , a beam-fire bright;< his soothe discouragement;> Lovingly help him to stand. Somebody near you is hungry and cold; Send him some aid today. Somebody near you is feeble and old, left without human stay. Under his burdens put hands Kind and Strong; Speak to him tenderly, sing him a song; Haste to do something to help him along over his weary way. What is your role for such kind of people.? Have you never been thought about those people.? How do you respond to them in Christ name.? Will you come to Pray for them.? Will you be ready to help them in Christ name.? Isaiah 58 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him, And not hide yourself from your own flesh? Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily, And your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, If you extend your soul to the hungry And satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, And your darkness shall be as the noonday. The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail. Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.
